Change Team:
Let's Get Ready for Hockey
by posted 08/09/2022

Hello Team,

Well despite it feeling like the surface of the sun these past couple weeks, it's cooler weather and that means it's almost time for hockey.  There are skills sessions planned for the end of this month and our first batch of practices have been scheduled- we'll have Mondays in Norfolk and Wednesdays in Franklin at 7 sharing the ice with the A team.  Should be a good setup.

I'll need everyone to submit their USA Hockey numbers as soon as possible.  Email them to me at please.

As for tournaments,  I've inquired with the Haunted Shootout in Marlboro Oct. 21-23rd, The Fall Classic in Falmouth Nov. 4-6th, and the Warrior Cup down the cape 11/11 to see if we can get into a local early tournament. Stay tuned.

For our bigger tournament, I was thinking Jay Peak January 27th-29th- early estimated cost would be $80 per player fee, plus lodging ($400ish depending on room size needed) plus gas and food.

Other options I've looked at:

We could do a Hershey Park trip with the team- little amusement park, little hockey, lots of chocolate. Presidents Day weekend, staying at the Hershey Lodge similar fee at hotel cost to Jay peak plus gas and food.

We could go the world domination route and try to go to Montreal Feb 17-19th and that would run about $600 for 4 people for fee, hotel and couple meals included so there'd be additional for plus gas and some food and such.  Caveat: need to be vaccinated as of now to enter Canada

We could go to beautiful Biddeford/Kennebunkport, ME in March for the Lobster Trap probably the cheapest option with hotel and fee coming in lower.

Really looking forward to this season with the boys.
